Dear NIA Faculty and Staff,
I am excited to share some fantastic news about Newman’s Teacher Incentive Allotment (TIA) Program! Our program continues to thrive. Recently, the Texas Education Agency (TEA) released the allotment information for the 2024-2025 TIA Payments.
With the latest allotment, NIA has now surpassed one million dollars in total TIA Allotments since our system was approved in the first cohort. This milestone reflects the dedication and hard work of our faculty, as hundreds of NIA teachers have benefited from these funds.
Each year, TEA, in partnership with Texas Tech University, conducts a survey targeting teachers and administrators in districts with an approved system. If you receive a survey, please take a moment to complete it. Your feedback is crucial in guiding NIA's implementation of the TIA program. Classroom teachers and administrators can expect their surveys to resemble the example image below.
Important Note: Surveys are sent to individual email addresses and are unique to each recipient. Be sure to check your “Other” folder if you do not see it in your inbox.
Once the survey data is collected, Texas Tech will compile a report summarizing the responses from all participants. NIA reviews this report each year and utilizes the insights to enhance and strengthen our TIA program.
