About the program

The flexibility to learn anywhere in Texas

A new virtual learning program for high school students across Texas. Launching in Fall 2026, it allows students to take classes 100% online.

Texas Senate Bill 569, passed in 2025, allows districts to offer more flexible learning models. Newman Virtual Academy was created to expand access and provide families with more choices while maintaining the quality of education.
